If Covid has taught us in small business anything, its taught us to Pivot! 

Yes, Premier Shades use to do curtains. A few years ago, we measured and installed beautiful flowing sheer curtains and blockout drapes to our Central Coast customers.

However, we were frustrated with the quality of the curtain workrooms. We found the lead times for an Australian made product were just unacceptable to us and our clients. Sometimes waiting 10 weeks for an order. From an Australian manufacturer!!  If we, as local manufacturers could meet our deadlines why couldn't they? We refused to source them from overseas when the skill lied here.

So, we stopped supplying curtains on the Central Coast.

Then Covid happened. 

It was time to pivot.  It was time to suck it up and find a reliable supplier and another Australian manufacturer that was an expert in what they did and was professional.

As they say, timing is everything.  One of our well-established suppliers who we have a long relationship with entered the curtain market as an Australian manufacturer.  They were someone we could trust to do a good job.  They had hired the best curtain manufacturing team in the industry.  They supplied quality fabrics, like Nettex, James Dunlop and Warwick.  We sourced the best curtain tracking in the business.  Silent Gliss.  Known for their elegance gliding track with minimal noise or scraping sounds.  We contacted our mates at Somfy and got training on the Glydea and Irismo Somfy motorised curtain track system.
